UK again Pah!..
I seem to be away most of the time, so when I do get home for occasional halfdays, Sundays etc. I tend to get on the 'bike (GSA) and just go....

This means my first service is somewhat over due and probably will not take place until 1150 or 1200 miles, I have checked the oil level regularly and used it quite nicely all things considered, is such a high milage for a first service going to be a problem? I reckon it is a realistic run-in period, however I am not sure what view B*W will take if I were unlucky enough to have to make a warrenty claim at a later date.

1st service is one of the most important - gets rid of all the swarf out of a new engine as it initially beds in

1st service is important, get it done ASAP, and then they can't gripe.

Be serious, they can't complain. Just make the time and get it im to them.

If you are that worried, then spend the time getting the problem sorted instead of worrying about it and compounding it,,

Mike.

took mine for its first service (600miles) 2 weeks ago, asked if i could wait while they did it, i was expecting to be in and out in 1-2hours. i was waiting 4hours! i thought it was just a oil and filter change, but when i had a look at the bike in the workshop it was completely stripped, they really went to town on it. i dont think i'll wait again, i was bored stupid!
