First time fording and a head on collision photos

Been out for my first ford ride today on my own.Downloaded Mouses excellent ford database and chose a few local ones to try

Waded in to check it out first about 40cm deep, pebble bottom and a bit slippy.Got half way over bike started to sink and spin had to give it a big handfull of throttle to get out

4km along a gravel track in the middle of nowhere

Greeted with a sign saying NOT SUITABLE FOR MOTOR VEHICLES thought i'd better check it out on foot

With a pheasant at 70 mph it flew straight into the screen and brush guard nearly s**t myself

Brush guard flew off 'bloody and feathers everywhere.No real damage the screen was pushed back on the tobinators into my 2610

Found it back down the road needs a couple of new clips

Stopped to see if i was ok Had an excellent afternoon exploring the roads on my doorstep most of these were new to me.Can't wait til next weekend

Next time get a tripod and timed release to pic yourself going through the fords
