Because of an on ongoing neck problem I've had to sell my sports bike and get something more upright and comfortable.

So far so good... (hope the picture links work)

I'll be using it for commuting every day so I hope it's going to be as reliable as the R1.

Nice looking bike Ash,enjoy.
Could I enquire as to Where you aquired the sat/nav mount bar from.
Steve.

Welcome Ash, very nice bike.

Using your bike is ok for commuting, but when you get to work, you don't want to get off your bike - you will just want to keep on riding....I know I did.

Have fun

Very Nice bike, hope you have many happy miles on her......:)
I like the GPS I am going to have to put one on mine when i take delivery in Sept did the dealers fit yours or did you do it yourself?

Have Fun

Big D :)

Hi again,

not wanting to sound like a alarmist but i was adviced on this forum a few times of my photo skills... re displaying number paltes and gps locations etc..

I see you are displaying your new bikes vin number and the number plate , they may be of use to the cloners and thieving gits who scan around looking for stuff?
Just a thought

Big D:)

Point taken. Never had an issue in all the years I've put vehicle pics on web though.

Didn't realise the fram number was so clear. I may well change that.

Wow!!

Wow, that's a kick-ass colour scheme. First time I've seen half decent pictures of the Anniversary model...it looks great (BMWs always did look damned good in white with M-Sport motif).

Any particular reason you went for spoked wheels, other than strength off-road? They look great (probably much better than cast alloys) but a bit of a PITA to clean

So, just theoretically supposing that I wanted one...are dealers offering any kind of discounts or is it just the free panniers?

Enjoy the new ride

Steve

Those wheels are part of the 30th Anni spec and I bought it from Bahnstormer who were open to a deal. I certainly didn't pay the published price and got a deal on accessories bought at the same time too.

Nice looking bike mate :beerjug: but forget about R1 reliability now:augie:augie:augie

Very nice bike indeed! How does the exhaust sound? Worth it? I thought the 2010 version was loud enough :augie
It looks brilliant anyway! :thumb2
