Took the X-Co out for its first long jaunt around Devon this weekend, fully loaded up for about 300 miles mainly on green lanes, tracks and small lanes. I hit a few dodgy patches, mainly on steep rocky climbs, but this didn't help with the tyres I was using. Also got stuck in a clay bog! :censor: No offs, just a few front end sliders! :blast

The rear end susp bottomed out a couple of times and the front forks were quite hard on the rocks and especially on a series of waterfilled holes I hit! Overall I was very pleased with the bike, no issues apart from the chain needing adjustment twice. :thumb

Sorry about the big pics! :hide

That's a lot of luggage for a 300 mile day trip:nenau

How you gonna go on when you go on your hols ;)

Great bike indeed Harty ... not part with mine :thumb

:beerjug:

I was very sparing on kit. A Vango tent, sleeping bag, airbed, tools, cooker, pans/plate,cup, food, shorts and pullover, crocs, book, torch and that's it. I used every single item and needed no more and no less. :goodnight ;)

Just realised you said 'day trip', sorry I went out on Friday afternoon and came back on Sunday morning!

Harty, is the orange bag just a tent or is there other stuff in there as well ?

Looking good. I still have my Xch forks but there is somebody else interested. You're welcome to come down, fit and test them if you want. Watch the shock though, you don't want to go bottomming it out too often. Sounds like a replacment may be required.
