has anybody had to fit a new battery positive wire. The tag on the end broke off. The fit is very tight so no chance of pulling it through at all. Am I right in assuming the tank has to come off? All help appreciated

Could you get away with just undoing the rear bolts and lifting it to give you the room??

Get a new tag crimped on, a good garage should be able to do it,

If you look at battery connector the wire is soldered and crimped , but the connector has is longer and it grips the actual cable outer for additional security. I have spent hours on web but cannot find such a connector. The wire will fit it to a 25mm sq area connector just very tight fit or it means using 35mm sq area connector In conclusion I would like a connecter with the extra length that grips onto the cable outer . Any help appreciated

In addition to what Victor c has mentioned I would use realOEM to find the part number

Then contact Motorworks (who uses realOEM) to make sure you get the right part
