Good evening all
I have just fitted a new leo vince can and link pipe must say it sounds rather nice if you like that sort of thing, my question is do i need to alter any fueling or such likes , i havent riden it yet only started it up to make sure everything is sealed properly which it seems to have done ok.
At the moment i have taken the removable baffel out so in effect its nearly a straight through can does any one know of any problems with running the bike like this appart from the noise regs.
The only reason i ask is when i started it up out side after about 5 mins of running the header pipes were glowing would this be normal when running the original pipe and cat or is the bike running hotter for some reason now.
Many thanks Adam

Don't think a new pipe / can will cause it to run any hotter, but I would'nt let it run for to long while stationary.... get it moving to keep the cooling air over the cylinders and through the oil cooler, air and oil cooled, glowing headers :nono

Do a plug chop to check the mixture under load.

My straight through Remus Revolution can and S pipe needed no modifications.

Glowing pipes are normal (I hope) if you leave the bike ticking over for a few minutes. I only notice it in the dark though.

I must have an odd bike then ,cause they don't glow on mine ...but I may be wrong... if I warm my bike bike before a ride ; ie temp gauge just over the blue indicater on the RID all ok. To get the pipes to glow I would assume the temp gauge must be getting up to the red zone , don't think I'LL check by trying it though I'am going to stick with a brief warm up method. :thumb
