New screen adjuster knobs from the 2010 GS.:thumb2
Much better design and function, especially for tossers with a grip like wet lettuce.:augie

Very nice, I think that I will need them as I have the grip of a wet lettuce, how much?

Ah, the price. I ordered them thinking they would be no more than say, 20 quid.:mmmm

I should have checked the price beforehand.:blast

They come as a kit sir. Loads of nuts bolts and screws for fitting the screen.

Cost £38

I bought them anyway, and they are a big improvement. :augie

Why, why, why? I mean, how often do you adjust your screen, and is it such a hardship to turn the originals? Bling bling bling...

Screen

Hi Yonkyo,

Is your screen the "half-tint" or the "full-tint"?

And did you buy the screen side "ears" tinted or did you paint them?

Cheers!

Sometimes i adjust the screen before every ride. Depending on the weather, type of roads - i.e. fast A roads, M/ways, B roads etc. or if i'm solo or 2 up.
The screen position makes a lot of difference for me.

The screen is dark tint:thumb2 and the wings are home tint:augie

In five years of driving GS/GSA I have never found the need to adjust the screen. why would you want to? I am the same height and sit in the same place every time i ride the bike.

Good for you fella.:comfort
I'm very happy for you.

do they fit well? I got a GS with the Nippy Normans 'High & Wide' but the adjusters don't fit very well, they seam to hold the screen ok though

Same here, but I couldnt move it anyway as my Tom Tom sits right up to the screen !! :augie

I can't comment on the Nippy screen. But these simply replace the existing knobs, and just make it easy to grip them with your fingers.

Re screen adjustment.
I have it low when in town or riding B roads or off roading.
If I'm doing mostly M/Ways etc. I'll have it set high.

Yup, its incredible what them clever Germans can do nowadays.:bow

Did you know, you can even adjust the seat height and suspension and stuff:eek:

:thumb

I knew this. It auto adjusts every time I sit my weighty arse on the bike. Sag? Like a fat bird's tits.

I've got a set of these 2010 large adjuster knobs for £20 including postage (hardly used - now selling bike). PM me if interested.
