For anyone who is wondering whether its worth fitting Tobinators to the 1200GS, hesitate no longer and give Nippy Norman a call. Fitted mine today and the "thrumming" on the helmet and excessive wind noise disappeared as if by magic. I put mine on the setting recommended in the fitting instructions i.e. front setting 3 grooves from top and rear (original) adjusters 1 from the top. It's the best £33 I've spent so far and has transformed the riding experience

fitted tobinators today - very easy job - less than 15 mintes, not done a long motorway trip but def. quieter on the country roads - only adjusted them 3 times (also easily done) and to my surprise i have ended up with the screen quite "flat" (erm-not upright / vertical as i thought might be best - but - tilted back towards me quite a long way)

i reckon the air is flowing over my helmet more effectively now - only possible explanation for the drop in noise and buffeting.
