I have just ordered an autocom super pro automatic i will be fitting it to a 11 reg GSA linked to zumo 550.I just wondered if anyone has any pointers on installing the unit ie; where to mount the unit and power feed is it ok to link to the accessory socket or will it cause the canbus to stay alive after switching the ignition off.:beerjug:

Wire live through tool tray and into aux socket. Mount unit either in tool tray or if you have a pmr put the pmr in the tool tray and mount the autocom against the tank. Where your balls are, if you see what I mean.
Plug the sumo into the socket under the beak with a can bus lead available from nippy Normans or you can make your own. Do a search and you will find a good step by step for this. If you were nearer I would do it for you

Forget Autocom. Forget hard wiring, and buy one of these and a bluetooth headset!

I'm dying for some feedback from someone else before I commit the funds myself!:D I just love the idea of the portability! More than one bike? No problem!;)
