Probably pidcocks... loathe as I am to say that.

I guess the bike will have to go on the diagnostic gadget thingie wotsit anyway... to make sure the 'mixture' is alright... and they're the only place hereabouts that have one.

give them a call... see what they say.

Dead easy to do yourself...

disconnect the battery......... lift the tank or remove it.......unscrew the 4 screws (security torx ones .ie torx bits with holes in the middle)......Unplug the long connection plug adn lift out the ECU........gently separate the the cover by using a screwdriver or something to leaver it up...you will feel the silcone coming off...Lift off the cover and remove the chip noting the cutout location points one way...... push in the new chip (dont touch the pics)....... reseal the box ...i removed all the silicone from mine and used new.....refit lid and screw together......... fit the connector back on and screw back together.... connect battery and jobs a good un!

takes 1/2 max

thanks mike that sounds spoton. but do i have to have the diagnostic reset ie co mix?
