It is about time the bloke responsible for the instructions that come with Givi gear is given the boot. Every time I fit their equipment it is a very frustrating experience. I spent over an hour and a half fitting the pannier rails. It looked like a 10 minute job but involved ratchet straps to pull the holes into line!
After finishing this I set about fixing the top box base plate. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had to remove the pannier rails again to fit the plate as the supports use the same fixing points as the pannier rails!!
It got a bit dark so I have left it for tonight. One thing I still can not fathom is how the little brackets that relocate the indicators fit. Can any of you guys enlighten me or even better email me a picture showing it to [email protected]
I can`t see how it can be done without drilling the rack, but I am hoping I am wrong.

Got up early this morning and finished the job. After fitting the rack it became clear that the indicator brackets fit to the rearmost plate fittings for the top box. If you only fitted the pannier rails I am still not sure how you would fit these brackets.:nenau
It is all very sturdy and looks good but the rails don`t seem as good quality as the H&B ones I took off it but as I have two sets of Givi panniers and a top box already it would not have made sense to fill the garage up with yet more luggage.
