Fitting GiviT480 TANKLOCK Bag to GS Adventure ?

Hi I am very much a newey to both the site and forum, I recently bought a 2005 GS 1150 Adventure, great bike, as I have no luggage with it, I am wanting to utilise my Givi 480 TANKLOCK bag that is also used on my Pan European. Givi do not list a fitting kit for the GS, and having asked them what best kit can be adapted to fit they were less than helpful. My Adventure has 6 Screw fittings as I understand there are variations. Anyone out there can provide a solution please I am all ears ?

Hi looks like you need a BF02 (possibly) if you go here:

http://www.givi.it/soft-luggages/Tank-bags/T489-TANKLOCK and click on the "download pdf" red button which is level with the T489 header.

Although your bike isn't listed there.

6 holes in the adapter that fits fuel cap.

Still havent found a suitable fitting kit

Unfortunately the Triumph Triple tank, although having six screw fittings is a smaller diameter, so back to the drawing board.

I have made a template and tried it against this bike, The diameter of the fitting is totally different. So still looking

I am sure I have seen the tank fitting for the GS in BVM in Stroud, Gloucestershire, (who were once BMW dealers) Might be worth a call to confirm.
