Slackened off and removed the two bolts that hold the oil cooler on (bottom left of pic is one of them)

Then had some of this

You can see the mounting bracket just behind the oil cooler (it goes between cooler and steel washer)

You will end up with this scene under the beak

Ooops Teas finished

Ended up back here

I found this magnetic wand very handy for re fitting the small nuts on the back of the bottom screen bolts

End result is like this

Brighter than a seriously bright thing

Total time around two hours, not bad i thought for a first attempt


Now for the FF50s

I take it that you did the aux lights too as there are four ballasts on that bracket?

Might be worth pointing out if you are just doing the main lights you only need two ballasts and fitting can be even easier and quicker because you don't have to use the bracket. There are enough places around the headstock to cable-tie two ballasts to.
