I'd like to lower my seat height a bit and although I'd love a set of short Wilburs or works performance shocks to achieve this, financially it's not happening for awhile. Anyway, I picked a set of very low mileage r1100r shocks and wanted to try fitting them to my r1100gs. I just wondered if anyone has any experience trying this. I did find one guy that installed RT shocks on his GS and he ran them for several years with great success. I know I'll be giving up some adjustability on the rear shock, but I've only $130 invested.
Has anyone else tried this??
