Nice new shiny Multitech purchased today:D

I've removed the StarCom cablage from my old helmet, but can't see how to fit it in the MultiTech without having the cables trailing across the inside of the helmet and disturbing my sensitive bonce, not to mention eventually getting ripped out.

Anyone done this?

I'm guessing that I have to, at least, cut the lining to get the speaker through, then make a groove in the polystyrene to take the cables

Spent hours on the phone to StarCom - they just say its not their problem and I should contact Shoei - guess what Shoei say?

Got my starcom open face kit in without having to cut anything:nenau

Just pulled out the cheek pads so I could run the cables easily, took all of about 15 min's, could take a pic if you want?

OK, the reference to the whisper kit was the clue - I've been used to running the wiring across the top of the helmet, but now I see it should go around the back edge of the helmet.

Whisper kit makes a useful tool to get the wiring well stashed away.

While I've got your attention, does the whisper kit come in a variety of sizes? Mine won't fit, its clearly too long to catch on both the locating lugs.

Although my helmet is a 'large', the box it came in is for a 'med' - maybe the shell sizes and the whisper strip are different between 'large' and 'med' and they got them mixed up in the shop.
