Fitting t/tech mini indicators

Fitting the touratech sondersystem alu panniers with the exhaust cutout on my 1100gs and have just received the mini indicators from t/t...

How hard/easy are they to fit...anyone got any instructions......

If I remember right you'll need to refit the OE bulbs. They look like they're too big but you can squezze them in. TT bulbs are the not the correct wattage and'll cause your indicaters to go ape.

Touratech normally also delivers 21W with their mini turnsignals. Otherwise use the bulbs that come from the standard turnsignals

I installed my Touratech "sondersystem" yesterday, but didn't use the turnsignals from Touratech.

I used a 12 mm. stainless steel tube of 210 mm. long to mount the standard turnsignal housings on.

How did you fix the s/steel tube to the bike?

Is the tube a single piece or 2 separate ones?

Did you drill new mounting holes or use the existing ones?

I'd like to use my existing rear lights(with clear lens)

I just saw that you have an 1100 (I have an 1150 and I don't know if you will be able to do the same)

I used one thin stainless steel tube with a diameter of 12 mm. and a length of 210 mm. (with two holes at about 5 to 6 cm. from both ends for the cables) After removing the original turnsignals the tube goes through both original mounting holes)

The turnsignal housings are clamped on this tube, the same way as they are clamped on the original holders.
