Hi folks

Just got an large (33l) tank on e-bay for my 1150 GS Adventure.

Could anyone out there with the same tank post a couple of pictures of the mounting and routing of the fuel line from the bottom of the tank (to make the fuel level level in both sides of the tank.

Thanks,
Jørgen

Jorgan,
no pic, but it just passes over the engine - obvious position when tank in place.

Hi Spout

Thank, how about the quick lock for the fuel line (got all the separate spare parts from my BMW dealer - unassempled

Ditto

Hi I'm doing the same thing at the moment, the 90 degree quick release conector is on the r/hand side of the tank when sitting on the bike and a hose connects the two outlets to equalise the petrol, i bought all the gubbins from a 1150 tank, couldn't find a adv tank set! Just have to live with the fuel sender unit/float saying tanks empty prematurely, unless someone has a fix, cheers Dusan :thumb

Just re-adjust the float arm ( i.e. bend it ) :D

Dusan, PM'ed a reply to you. Bending the float arm is the way to go.

I also fited another right angled quick fuel disconnect to the left hand side of the crossover pipe, makes life a lot easier. Drilling the fuel neck increases capacity by up to 2 litres.
