Fitting WP 4014 Spin shock

I've been offered a 4014 Spin and 4014 Emulsion pair of shocks for a really good price and just wonder if anyone else has got any good tips on where the Pre-load adjuster and resevoir fit best on an '07 1200? Or do they fit at all? There's not much mention of them being fitted here or on AdvRider...

I think they ar for much lighter bike's not for a 1200 fully loaded.

What makes you say that? WP advertise the fact that these shocks are suitable for a GS. And WP make the OE shock don't they?

Hmmm......... Reliable...... Let me see......... Charlie Boringman and Iwan MyMummy had a few specially prepared 1200s to do the Long Yawn Down. If I remember correctly, (I may have nodded off a few times), their bikes had Ohlins fitted and they all failed.............!!!! Get WP or Wilbers!!!
