big thanks to steptoe for organising todays visit to clouds hill. had a great time.

thanks also to clive for the afternoon ford ride, taking me to places i never knew existed in my own backyard....including the petrol station i desperately need in blandford

and my visor came off when the screw fell out this morning

and when i got home i had to walk down the road & change the tyre on mrs cookies car, 'cos she had a flat

Good to see some of the old faces (old meant in the sense of familiar of course ).
Also good to meet a lot of new faces ... a good bunch.

We visited the site of Lawrences fatal accident, Clouds Hill - his last home, and his grave site. Uncle Albert was overcome with emotion (He did threaten to moon us but we thought the Rev. might object)

Had a great time in (and I mean IN) the ford at Moreton. Thought I better not take too much home with me though!!
