Bit of a long shot especially this time of year I guess. I have been looking at FJR1300s for a few months and missed out on a few I should have moved quicker on but in the process I have decided the spec etc. that I want so if anyone has one and is thinking of moving it on, my wish list is as follows:
- FJR1300AE post 2016 so with six gears and electronic suspension
- Ideally under 20,000miles
- One or two previous owners preferred
- Full luggage incl. top box
- Colour not important but don't really like the silver or blue 'satin' finish bikes. First choice would be 'Metallic Brown, then grey. The black and gold 'ultimate' would be good too but a bit rare and usually priced high.
- I'm in Suffolk but don't mind travelling for the right bike
I'll probably get responses telling me the 5 gear bikes are just as good or better than 6 gear bikes, mileage isn't important as they go for big miles and electronic suspension is expensive when it goes wrong etc. I seen and ridden a few and rightly or wrongly I am pretty firm on what I want.
There's been a grey one on autotrader that fits the bill perfectly other than the fact that since listing it a couple of weeks ago the seller hasn't responded to any messages or calls.
Anyhow who knows someone on here might have one or know someone who has.
