Stickers....does one from the dentist count.

Luckily my name isn’t Mr Stickers.
The latter for sure…What’s the approved etiquette when buying a secondhand bike, with stickers from the previous owner? Should it be looked on as:
A mark of authenticity, like the patina on an antique?
A scurrilous fraud?
The latter for sure…

You wouldn’t want to inherit the notches on somebody else’s bed post. IMHO bike stickers fall into the same category.I’m not so sure.
The panniers and the stickers live on for new adventures. Some fading or being covered with new stickers, building a record of time spent, like the rings on a tree.
As if anyone has complained about the notches on the bed post lolYou wouldn’t want to inherit the notches on somebody else’s bed post. IMHO bike stickers fall into the same category.
When we had a gite, one couple of newly weds broke the bed.As if anyone has complained about the notches on the bed post lol
