I was was out flogging the bitch yesterday through some beautiful mountain roads at elevations in excess of 8,500 ft and as high as 9,500.
I never felt this before but when really pouring the coals to it I found a slight but noticeable flat spot in power precisely at 85 mph. I was going through 85 in 3rd and 4th gears depending on the situation and it did not matter which gear.
After passing through it, the thing goes into warp drive almost as if saying here is your warning, hold on. Going through a 100 in 4th really makes one wonder what the extra gears are for.
Has anyone else noticed this?
