Flat tyre fixed, but who uses what tyre pluggers?

Had a look at the the Stopngo kits on Amazon. One question though, it looks like the mushroom plug goes in without glue. So is this just a 'get me home fix' or something more permanent?

2 punctures in my van, 8500 miles later they are still in, no pressure drop. New van 200 miles puncture front o/s, plug & Go 7000 ish miles later.......you quessed it it's still in, no pressure drop.

Thanks for this input, although obvious when I think about it, I hadn't really connected my brain and it all makes sense. Thankfully some compressor advice is also coming through on this thread so will be on my list to get ASAP too! Do any work with the canbus directly, or do they all need a battery feed, I already have battery beed for my optimate and heated clothing, do any of them plug into the Optimate adapter (old school white connecter they used to use on Remote Control Car batteries ha ha), or am I going to have to run yet another cable ha ha.

The plug on this one adjusts to either full cig lighter socket size or the size required for your on board socket, suspect you might still find u need to go direct to the battery due to the limitations on the canbus. Either way run the engine when inflating tyres.
Have a look at this thread.

Yes, it goes in dry, and it can be permanent. I had a stop n go plug in a front tyre on my car it was in till i changed the tyres 15 or 20,000 miles later. HOWEVER, i did have to put in more air ONCE.

Permanent. I have had 3 stopngo plugs in my rear tyre since last summer.

Carry a small compressor. Canisters are too limiting and you can never carry enough.

Riding at 1 bar on a GS is fine if you get caught out on air.
