Flushing out an engine ???

Hello All,
Lads n Ladies need to flush out me
engine after camshaft smashed into its
housing, have drained the engine oil and
got a good bit out, any ideas have heard
Petrol will do the job ????
Is this right????

works for me since 1965

Personally
I use 2 liters of engine oil to a liter of parrafin, put bike on center stand, with New filter in as well start and run with no load for 20 minutes, starting @ around 1000 rpm building up[as long as no nasty noises start] to 3000 rpm for last 2 minutes or so.
drain oil, remove and disect filter in a clean bowl, looking for crap, if A OK refill new filter and Bobs your Mothers Brother.

PS not sure of filter location on Oilys, but on Airy's always make sure filter housing is spotlessly clean.

Couple of runups with some cheap oil. Fill runup, drain, fill runup, drain, new filter fill with good oil
S'pect someone else has a comment on a special product for the job?.....................
