Cracking tale..

Thanks for the efforts in posting and all the photos.. well done in getting that far. It is sometimes wiser to know when to call it quits.
For me I would love to do a return trip to Fort Victoria in Zimbabwe and see my old house and home and the area I was born in, but alas its not to be, not untill the politics are better.

Hope you and the bike made it back home safe and sound.. so where is the next trip heading?? :thumb2

I used to be a Ewan & Charlie wannabe...not anymore....

I'm an edventure wannabe now....:thumb:thumb:thumb:thumb:D:D:D:D

+1. What a great trip report - you should seriously consider writing a book you have a great writing style and have clearly had some awesome experiences on the trip!

Back in the saddle....

Any news on Edventures return yet? :)

Thanks all, I got back 3 weeks ago. Landed at Heathrow, went round to BA cargo, picked the bike up and rode home.

I head off to Spain via France on Thursday for a boys trip round the Pyrenees. I've not even unpacked the panniers yet but I think this trip will have slightly different challenges, 1 mad mate, 2 mad brothers, it's going to be like herding cats!!

Cheers

Ed

Oi we need more pics and words from your Africa trip before you leave us for Europe...:rob

Another one....

giving you my thanks for a great report Ed.I thought I was being brave when I go over to France or down to Spain, especially when I have trouble getting fuel but your adventures make mine seem wimpish.
However I have decided to now do the same and I am getting on the bike and travelling down to where I was born.......

Mind you it is only 5 miles away but hey its a start.

Enjoy your future travels and keep us all informed of them.
