Flywheel / Starter motor damage

How many of you have had a damaged flywheel after going through a ford?

I can understand other damage, but there seem to be a number of us here that have had to have flywheels replaces after fording and I really can't understand why?

12 GS and GSA I guess, but it would be interesting to know others... I'm guessing the flywheel won't have changed much ???
