foot peg rubber inserts ?

Hi all.....
My RST raptor boots are getting torn up, on the rubber sole, from the gsa metal prongs on the foot pegs !
Ebay are selling replacement pegs with inserts for 131 dollars .
Any one had the same problem ?
Is there a rubber insert that can be fitted to the original foot peg ?

They come up for sale from time to time.
I can't find the BMW part # so maybe they don't make them anymore.

Put an add in the wanted section.............it's the type that fits over/around the peg as opposed to the insert that's used on the 800 peg.


I'll take a photo of what you need and post it in a few minutes.

They are available from BMW dealers , not as GSA spares but as G650X spares so if your dealer looks on that microfische he'll find them .

The edges of them get worn fairly quickly with high mileage......I've had to switch mine around. I'll buy a spare pair.


What year G650X should I search on RealOem??

Get down to your dealer with this little list.........should be less than 50 squid.

Rubber sheet from eBay, sharp knife and some superglue.

Saying that if someone made brackets to carry mountain bike platform pedals, they’d easily undercut Pivot Pegz and boots would be safe as well.
