I struggle with the foot controls with the rubber in, my boots are quite bulky which doesnt help, but now I've taken the rubber out it makes it a lot easier,
has anyone else taken the rubber out of the footpegs, if so- can you feel the vibes a lot more through your feet/legs on a longish run?

regards
Mike

Took mine out. I don't really feel any vibes but I wear normal work type boots (non-motorbike), with a rubbery sole. I like the feel without the pads as they somehow feel more firmly planted on the pegs, it just seems more comfortable to me.

I used to have touratech stainless steel pegs but sold them and replaced my original BMW rubber pegs. I feel more vibes now than I did with the TT's fitted. I should have kept them :blast

I took mine out day one, had 6+ hour days in saddle and feet have never been an issue. I wear Alpinestars so hard thin ish sole.

Took the rubber off after the first time in the rain, now feel a lot more in control of the bike. Also feels easier on my knees.
Not as much vibes as with my old Zx6, i'm wearing the same Oxtar (tcx) race boots at the moment.

Took the rubber out the day I got the bike home from the dealer (in Oct. of 2009). Installed Pivot Pegz soon thereafter. Never looked back.

Took them out and put them right back in. The vibes are worse without and I dont care what my pegs look like:toungincheek

Took them off within a month or two of having the bike... with Alpinestars Tech 3 boots no vibration.

Took rubbers out and much better feel for foot pedals although I find brake lever too high as I have limited movement in my ankle, need to lower it but there isn`t enough adjustmant, any ideas?
As for vibration with thick soled boots don`t notice it, with lightweight racing boots I do but not a problem.

Cheers for the replys, i'll leave them out then, my feet do feel more secure, its just a shame they are soooo big,
Mike

took mine off and found the position of the peg rear brake was more comfortable. I dont find the vibration intrusive
