Footpegs, and other bits

Not sure if they fit the 1300 models but my GSA came with some Option719 stuff fitted, including adjustable footpegs made by Gilles. They are pretty good but I doubt they are cheap.

Evening @Pukmeister,
Did you say you wanted to swap these for younger, standard pegs?

More than happy to help…….

That’s correct I’m still a cheeky sprog…

Hi guys,
Sorry I forgot to update after I had a reply from Gilles, so asked them if they were going to produce some of there fine quality adjustable leavers, and the reply was a negative, not for this model bike...

I find the clutch lever is to far away, and the clutch take up point way out near the end of travel, which makes for some difficulty in clutch control at times, but I did read somewhere on this fine forum that there is a small grub screw on the clutch lever, where it touches the master cylinder piston, and I was able to change its factory setting, making a huge difference for me...

I am yet to see a option 719 in the flesh to see if there is any difference with its clutch lever ect...
Hope this is helpful to some...

I'm interested in these levers too - have been trying to get some Enduro ones via BMW for months without success. Maybe just poor dealer response. Either way would like to improve on the standard offering.
Also to mention - I changed out the standard pegs for the SW-Motech Evo option. Very happy with the adjustability and quality of those, much better all round. (y)

Thanks for the contact - really just wanted the tech guys to fit them when I had the service done locally to be honest.
Seems to have been a big issue to source - but maybe they just forgot to order them in. Not that important now.

If they are available the. Alex will find them.

I have recently had help from Alex and he was a true professional with his advice.

Try ASV levers or Wunderlich.

I’ve had ASV on a Pan and they were superb, thumbscrew adjustment and great quality.

Wunderlich have a 6 position adjuster and length adjustment, allowing a reduced reach for the clutch and brake over stock.
