For info....

Scary!! I think the mudguard broke as a rock got between it and the wheel?

Found the fender extenda ripped off my F800s and a dent in the oil filter after a ride, can only guess a bit of debri on the road caused it.

The problem with the GS is the brake line going over the tyre, I once had goodridge brake lines fitted to a bike by a dealer and he ran a seperate line from the master cylinder to each caliper as he said it isn`t safe to run a brake line over the mudguard because if the guard gets ripped off you can lose your brakes, I think in bike racing you have to have seperate lines because of this?

He was going too fast maybe, some speculation as to whether the brake line clip broke first (by a rock), the line got caught in the tyre and locked on the brakes, resulting in a fender braking too

Looked pretty fast to me on a heavy bike

Why is there a cross over brake line?

I wondered this when I got the bike, surely two lines, one for each caliper would have been easier/cheaper? and not so likely to get all fowled up in front wheels and mudguards etc in the event of stuff/mud/rocks getting jammed under the said mudguard! :nenau

I think its something to do with the ABS, which I dont have...:blast
