Zagorka is a good lager,
i find i can drink it to excess with less of a hangover than our native brands

I like Spatenbrau which Aldi are kind enough to import from Munich and Lidl now stock Franziskaner wheat beer from the same brauhaus. However, if I drink wheat bier, I prefer this one

again, from Aldi

I was drinking this in France and after a few I said to Petite Pillion that I must be getting soft as I was feeling a bit pissed. She picked up a bottle to have a taste and said "no wonder have you seen this, its 9% abv".

I remember sitting in the square in Arras on a burning hot day and getting pleasantly pished on that. Lovely.

But when I tried it at home it just didn't seem the same, dunno why. All the beers I drink and enjoy when abroad don't seem to work as well back home.:nenau

Thats because you would have been drinking this stuff over here its only 6% abv.
