I was on the verge of trying to make something for my GSA when came across this just now.
I would be interested also in any template.
I was going down a weatherproof acoustic foam route.

My Africa Twin had one fitted between the tank top and forks. It was the only thing that stopped buffetting. Different screen and fairing deflectors helped a bit but the problem was mostly fork updraught.
