Hey guys,

I'm hoping some of you can advise me on the quantity of oil I need to put in the front forks of a 650gs 2001.

I've just replased the stantions that the privious owner bent.
So the forks are back in the bike with new seals. I have a litre of 10w fork oil but don't know how much or to what leval I need.

I did a search but only came up with the quantities for the Dakar, but they have longer forks.:nenau

I know that on some bikes the leval is measured in centimeaters from the top of the stantion. This would be usful if any one knows, as I'm possibly going to shorten the forks by fitting lowering blocks (well tubes really) in them.

Also if anyone knows a company that makes the lowering links for the rear suspention, that'd be usfull too.

Val.

0.6 litre (600cc if you prefer) per leg according to my manual. Can't help with the lowering links tho'.
