Fork Seals

I have tried searching but drew a blank.

Anyone had any issues with fork seals? Bought mine used approved about 6 months ago, had 15k on the clocks and the left seal is weeping.

Anyone else experience this?

Before anyone asks, no I don't jet wash my bike.

Had the same on an RT once. All done under warranty.

It's OK, it will stop leaking when all the oil has come out. Shouldn't affect the front end damping too much.

Sometimes its just a bit of debris preventing the seal from sealing properly. They can be reset using
a feeler gauge. Several videos on you tube showing how to do it.

FYI, the forks contain no oil for damping. Spring damper unit under headstock.

Had mine changed under warranty with no issues whatsoever
