I bought a Dremmel engraver off the bay for a around a tenner I'm systematically putting the last 7 digits of the vin number on anything that comes off the bike Spark plugs are difficult though

I think that's a good idea . I may just do the same. I was thinking last digits of the reg no, but VIN makes more sense.

The pieces I've seen on ebay can be matched perfectly to my own images by the corrosion patterns. These are pieces I renovated so I have a flick-book of images . But I can only hope the info can be used by the insurance companies. The breaker may have bought innocently, but I'm not so sure...
