Four days, four ferries - Western Scotland October 2010

I used to spend a lot of time with a 'friend':augie in Kilmun' and regularly took that ferry.
The house was on the side of the hill just out of picture to the left:) I loved that part of the world and nearly settled there....in fact would have, if there'd been more trails to ride:D

Nice ride report.....:thumb

Nice report

Physiojo and I did the Dunoon ferry last year on our way to Islay. Looks like you missed out on the Icecream parlour in Largs http://www.nardinis.co.uk/. Well worth a stop if you are passing.

We had mixed weather too. But the people and the place more than make up for it.

Cheers

Thank's MattW

Nice report there and some nice photo's, cheered me up no end as I had hoped to fit in a end of season run to the West coast but it wasn't to be

Good report and nice to see some of the places i used to have run outs on my 125 when i was a yoof living in Glasgow :thumb2

That place in Moffat looks like a good find as well and hope it keeps going.

Looks like you got the standard Scottish weather as well, which is a shame as the scenery is even more stunning in the dry :flag
