Just suffered the dreaded failure 3 miles after gettinh off the rotterdam ferry.
Same thing happend with my husbands 05 gs.
Thought this would of been fixed by now.
Dutch adac rep made up a bypass cable and karl myer bmw fitted a new one.
Running fine now happy times in Austria and Slovenia

We'll be getting off the Rotterdam ferry tomorrow morning, hope this isn't an omen
