I'm proud of the fact that I've plugged all the holes on the frame for about £3 in total, and find it amazing that people would pay over £100 for what is essentially the same product, albeit with a logo on.

The only frame holes I'm struggling with is the large angular holes at the top of the frame by the seat. I've got a couple of 42mm caps, but once they're in, the only way of getting them out would be to drill a small hole, I guess.

What has everyone else used, if anything, for the large holes?

Same again and at that price I just stick a scalpel in to help remove the plug and throw them in the bin! Disposable well at 26p who cares:beerjug:

Anyone willing to embrace my ignorance and let me know what sizes of plug I would need for my R1200 GS TE?

That's good info. If you have already completed the task can you give the details of sizes and quantities? Cheers

I just got 2 of these for the large holes mentioned above, but needed to put a bit of rubber in between one of the grooves to ensure a tight fit http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/282108209...49&var=581066900542&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

4 of these for the small holes http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Round-Pla...hash=item33a5596408:m:mCCAe_H7SJmSOekmKdQfzGw

4 of these for the larger holes http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Round-Pla...hash=item33a5596408:m:mCCAe_H7SJmSOekmKdQfzGw

Sorry, but my eBay history won't give me the dimensions of the ones I ordered, but just measure the holes, and you'll be OK.:thumb

I had to use a metal file to file them down a bit, but they look great.
