Due to my riding style, balls of feet on pegs with heels turned in, I am wearing through the paint on my frame, other than gaffer tape, anyone know of anything I can use?

I've seen Touratech protectors but they look a bit heavy duty for what I want. I tried to get a photo on here but don't know how to.

BMW do a stainless steel frame protector....it's more of a guard as opposed to the TT ones which are more of an 'overlay'.

I've got them on mine and I think they look good...but it appears others on this site disagree. :augie

As I remember they were about £30-40 ish.

The only down side is they won't mask the damage on your frame, so you'd have to touch it up first.

I've used black plastic hose left over from my fish-pond installation. Slit along the length and then tie-wrapped with small ties. I'll try and get a photo later.

Thanks all 3 good idea's, think I'll go with the tape initially as I have cash in my Paypal account, perhaps stainless guards will come later when I'm flush, hose would work well but I ain't got a fish pond. :thumb
