France 04-11 April

Not exactly a big trip but I'm off to France in a couple of weeks on my own and thought I may as well share it just in case anybody happens to be doing something similar and wants to ride a day or two together or even just meet for a beer.

Anyway,this is my route and itinerary starting from Guernsey/St Malo :

April 4

Route staying in Angers

April 5

Route staying at Rider's Rest

April 6

Route through Tarn Gorge and staying Millau.

April 7

Route staying Castellane 2 nights.

April 8

Rest day/nip to Cannes or Gorge du Verdon or whatever.

April 9

Route ride up Route Napoleon and then an amazing detour through a little gorge I love and staying Lyon

April 10

Route staying La Fleche.

April 11

Route to St Malo and ferry home.

Not the slighted bit impressed. Your photo should be shot from the perspective of an idyllic cafe tabac with a grande creme on the table and your bike on the pavement right outside

Ha ha !

The Big V is proving to be fantastic. The motor is like a turbine , certainly not slow . All day comfort and the MRA screen is the best I've ever used . Beginning to wonder if I should be trading it in after this trip !!

Don't normally sit in a restaurant taking pictures of my food !

I think the pictures will be wasted on most here as I actually like France so don't go from Formulé 1 to Formulé 1 each night and then head to the nearest Pizzeria !!

So had this tonight

Because it's not had first service yet and I'd always planned this trip on Versys. Taking the AT next month and June, unless GT pitches up in time for the June trip
