just returned from france,calais to margon,andorra,up to annecy then back to riems, 2 weeks 3200 miles seen some plod dont think they were bothered about us,weather a little too warm in places 37degrees (but we managed) all in all cant wait for a return journey 1150 gs performed 100% no issues at all,just a little tip bb hotels are mint cheap everything u need we only used these as 1 night stop overs happy travelling.

We love biking in France,
Friendly bikers, great diverse scenary, so I know exactly what you mean when you wrote about your trip, We have never been to Andorra, is it worth the trip? did you buy loads of cheap stuff there, some French bikers say that helmets are cheap there?
No sure about BB hotels is this a chain or individual bed & breakfast?
We nearly always stay at Chambre d'Hote, or at the farm, stay with the locals, so you find out about the area, usuall very safe parking as well.

bb hotels
bb hotels are a chain similar to formula 1 but my opinion are much better value safe parking(video cameras as well) not too far out of towns for eats and drinks,cheap with no hassles. as for andorra it is very cheap for helmets saw at least 4 people buy new ones couldnt carry much gear panniers were pretty full.
