Free s/w needed to convert i tunes to mp3

Dear forum

I've searched high & low to download some free software, so I can convert i tunes audio files to mp3.

All of the ones that I've found either have a track time limit imposed, or I have to have ask.com as my home page or some other shat....

Can anyone recommend a totally free piece of s/w that I can download and get this f##king task done....

Done that...no mention of mp3 in the menu...or is it AAC?

you have to go into itunes preferences and change the format to mp3 first. it's set at AAC as default.

Yes , occasionally I get asked to "upgrade" but just ignore that message
