Hi, we are looking at having a tour round France/Germany this summer, and just found out about this 'sticker' scheme needed to allow travel inside clean air zones...yes, another bloody cost we have to pay!
Its only a few Euros but the online form asks for Euro rating, and shows bikes as L1, L2 and other classes. I haven't got a clue what to do next
Bike: 2007 R1200GS 0307 K25, registered 23/03/2007
Any help much appreciated, thanks, Mike :thumby:

Here ya go…….

Just put the details you can in they’re really good at sorting shit out. My 2004 is a 3 and my 2010 is a 2…. The site is good at showing you were the zones are. Just watch them changing the level if the temperature rises and pollution increases. It’s a couple of quid and no issue at all.

If the sticker doesn't arrive in time, don't worry your bike reg will tell them.

Only use this official site, at the top you should be able to chanfe the language to English. Rhere are a lot of scam sites out there
😉

There is only one category for motorcycles, it is "motorcycle".
Serial number is your VIN.
The EZuRO rating your should find on uour V5C, a copy of which should be uploaded.
The cost is less than €4, which barely covers the basic costs, not much left for administration. Had they wanted to make a ton of money out of it the cost could easily have been 10 x that amount - we don't pay any VED/road tax here.

I’ve just applied today for my bike. The info you need is on the V5. You need to scan the V5 as well ( for proof) then compress the file to <2mb for the application.
If paying £4.09 for the sticker offends you perhaps a day trip to Blackpool may suit you better 😆

I have 2 lol

one for the bike i have and one for the bike i dont have :D

Guess which one made it to France :)

I did say its only a few Euros, so why the stupid comment?
I want to get the correct sticker...pretty obvious really, otherwise I wouldn't be asking.

The information isn't on my V5. If I just guess and get the incorrect sticker, you can be sure the French rozzers will happily charge me £150 for my mistake.

Look for euro status, that’ll give you the euro emission category
Then look for vehicle category. It will say something like L3

The vehicle category will be L3, IIRC, and the euro standard will be whatever it states on the V5

I've tried to explain this several times now. The bike's V5 doesn't show any of the details requested. That is why I'm asking for help.
The form is quite clear, once its translated to English, it asks for the Euro number, amongst other things.

???????
I’ve just checked my v5. Euro status is the 7entry below the reg number. On the left column.
Lower down the left column it says “J, VEHICLE category “ (mine is L3 )

And as I keep saying, my V5 is blank! Had it been written on the V5, I'm quite sure I would have noticed....

Can’t see any reference to a euro number on form, but there is ref to a euro standard. See my post above.

Oh, and the serial number is your VIN number, the long one at the top of the right hand column of the V5

Right I’m out of ideas now. The only thing I can think of is that as the bike is an older model perhaps the info is different on the v5. So I’m stumped.
