From 1200GS to R1150GSA

Hi guys ,
I just bought a R1150GSA and did over 2300 miles in 2 days, my first impression coming from a R1200GS are:
The GSA is much higher and heavyer
the GS is faster and ride a bit like a jap bike
the 1150 seems to old pavement much better and the suspension are superb
both bike have great brake
the gear box is better on the GSA and the first gear is way better (esp 2 up)
GSA and GS have drink the same amount of gas
GSA have less plastic and feel like a more rugget bike
the passenger seat is way smaller on the GSA

I loved the GS but I think that the GSA have more caracter and feel stronger .

My thoughts exactly, I sold 1200GS after 9k miles and bought 1150GSA, which I still love after 30k miles.

For a shortarse like me it is damn tall and heavy with a full tank though.

Kev riding behind on his 1200GS said the GSA gave a bow wave similar to the spanish juggernauts we were passing
