The next person who is foolish enough to say 'AA Loo Min Um' in my presence is likely to be submitted to a 'bully ramming' with a force and vehemence that belies my kindly, gentlemanly appearance! :rob

I love Yorkshire and Yorkshire people :comfort Ecky thump! :thumb

I love gadgets, and pack more of them than essential stuff.
Fair play to the bloke, if it makes him happy so be it.
Each to their own in regards to what kit you take with you; what works for you, may not work for me or the next bloke. I thought it was a good vid with an insight to somebodys interpretation of what they need to take away with them.
Thumbs up from me. :thumb2

Loads of kit

While I agree that its a good professional vid guys like this put me off taking chances, when I was eighteen I rode a very used Z to Spain France and Italy with a tent lashed on the back a gas cookers a can of fenilac type stuff various different currencies in my back pocket, my then slightly potty but oh so saucy girl friend and a couple of maps. I adjusted the chain, twice ........... thats it.
My GS let me down two years ago in a forest 5 miles from a proper road and I had to push it back to the campsite I was staying at 7 miles in total (beer never tasted so good). It was in warranty so a nice French bloke took it to some where begin-ing with a B in the pyrenees and fixed it bmw sent a car for me and took me to my bike. The guys at the shop explained that I would have needed a proper diagnostic set up to even find out what had gone wrong.
Not sure what i'm making but I could not dream of affording all that lot.
Still if it all went tits up he could e bay it all and buy another bike on the proceeds to get home. :topic

Both James Burton and Whatton carry more than that for their Tescos expeditions:augie
