Maybe i have just done something crazy but i am just about to sign for a 09 GSA (Demo).

I had my Hypermotard for about 1.5 years but i kind of lost intrest in riding.
Its a fun bike in some parts it but got a bit anoying on others. So its time for a change, and i have always liked the GSA. Am i making a mistake ? Surely my Ducati riding friend will laugh at me, but i decided to give the GSA a shot. :D

Hi,welcome to the site.Dukes are great bikes and i've got two alongside the GS (the proper 1150 one:D).Like most things it's horses for courses;what do you want a GS for?;commuting, touring, track days, posing etc.I also ride with Ducati owners and if they give me any grief i take them down little bumpy roads or threaten to flatten them with the GS.:aidan

Hi. The hyper is a wicked bike to ride but is more of a toy. I came to a GSA from a multistrada which handles like a hyper but had a proper tank range. The GSA doesn't light your fire like a Duc does, but you will find you use it more and for longer, it just takes a bit of getting used to.

I'm spoilt though, some days only a Duc will do, so i still have my 749 for summer concerts of the Bologna symphony arranged for termis!

Enjoy and welcome.

the Hyper was fun for small trips, but at the end i have gotten too lazy to ride 100km to see a friend of mine. the hyper does not have any wind protection, making freeway rides a big pain...
maybe i will get me an old 900ss for track use.
but on the road i wanna take it a bit easier, thats why i got the gsa :).
