Hey you can't own a location man!!
Hi,

Just checking if you can buy or know if you can modify the existing wiring to hook up my tankbag which has powerlet sockets to power my gear while out and about?

I've done it on my previous 1200 but not sure there's one for my 1100?

Cheers

You'll see a lot of 1100's ...

... with an aux power point on the L side bracket between the tank and the headight assembly for just this reason. As a matter of intrest, how did you fit power sockets to the tank-bag, are they permanent or loose ?

I used a set from Powerlet, you just need to make a small hole in the bag and seal with silicon to make water tight. Good piece of kit and good value, if you get the kit with both the BMW and normal cigar socket then you can run other stuff at the same time.

I'll keep looking at other bikes, but wondering how it's been done - a bodge or proper job!
