Front Beak

Morning all, noticed that the white paint on the nose of my standard front upper beak is fading from white to like pink is this normal?? Just odd that its doing it, the paint doesnt look to have been touched in anyway.

Take it the cure is beak extender??

Or just take it off and paint it. 6 screws and its off.

If your bike is fairly new i would take it into the dealer. Doesnt sound right and they might do something on goodwill if the warranty has run out.

Well this may not be relevant but........I am in the plastics fascia manufacturing business and years ago we had real probs with white going a shade of pink. It was due I believe to lead content in the product mix. Now its calcium organic which is no lead no tin. Perhaps the paint has a lead content and causes the pinking.
Either way white paint should stay white paint! Take it to the dealer to address. Or sell the bike to the girl next door she may like the shade.

Just buy the beak extender, I know you're just looking for any reason to get one!
Tell Anne that it'll improve the re-sale and make it more comfortable for her!
