looking at my front brake disc studs have noticed they are all rusted wondering where i could get replacements for them the bike is a 2007 gs 1200.there are ten in total 5 each side

SCOTCH PAD AND A LITTLE WD40 OR THE LIKE, PUT OIL ON THE PAD AND TWIST CLEAN UP REAL GOOD,, NEW ONES FROM BMW WILL ONLY RUST AGAIN,,
Just a question to you engineering types. Isn't there an arguement that goes you shouldn't use any old stainless bolts since some stainless steel is significantly weaker under shear when it's already under tension (like bolts usually are when they are holding something together)?
