Front disc question.

Hi.
I noticed for a while when I apply the front brake there was a slight clonk from somewhere. Yesterday I found out the both discs have slight forward and backward movement. There is no side to side just fwd and back. Maybe a mm at the most. I found a post that said there should be no movement at all.
Is this a replace bobbins job or something else?

You can get away with turning each bobbin 90deg for a while as they get a flat worn on them. Don't leave it too long as the disc's holes get worn otherwise.

They've been like it since I got it so who knows how long it's been like it.
Kit ordered from mw I will check disc thickness before fitting might as well do them at the same time if needed.

Anyone know minimum disc thickness on 2001 1150 with abs?

Nominal 4.5mm minimum, but have a look and see how scored they are, and at the lip.

Steptoe was doing a cracking deal on disc's give him a shout

Checked discs they are 5mm so thankfully something I don't have to change just yet!
